The rooftop bar is always staffed from morning until night, which is fantastic. At many other hotels, there’s no service during quieter hours, so this really sets the hotel apart. The rooftop itself is beautifully maintained, with a refreshing pool and plenty of shaded areas—something essential in the heat of Cartagena. The music is excellent, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is located right in the heart of the historic old town, so from the rooftop you can see the city’s landmarks, the harbor, the ocean, and even the modern skyline. We love this hotel; this was our second stay, and we’ll definitely be back. It has become our favorite place to stay in Cartagena, not just a hotel, but a place we know and truly enjoy. In the evenings, the rooftop comes even more alive, making it a true hotspot with its pool, stunning views, great music, and vibrant bar. The hotel has character, you can enjoy spending entire days there. The breakfast is great; many options, well-staffed, great cooks, fresh and a la carte options. A wide variety of fruits. We really love it. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

My room was very large and spacious, impeccably clean, had a very comfortable bed, ample storage space, plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower, good air conditioning and there was a lovely view of the plaza. The location is absolutely stellar, just a few minutes from the wall along the ocean and very easy walking distance to all the main points of interest. The staff, however, are the main draw - over the top helpful and exceptionally kind.

Beautiful building and lovely rooms. We had a junior suite which was huge with an extra large bed, 2 ac units and 2 fans. The toiletries were very good quality. The staff were friendly and professional. The location was perfect, on a quieter square in the walled city, close to everything

The view from the rooftop pool and the pool area itself is great. The pool is small and shallow, but still provides a refreshing dip which is very welcome in hot and humid Cartagena. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of good options. The location is also excellent, inside the old city, close to plenty of sites, bars and restaurants, and close to the ports that provide access to the islands.

Loved the rooftop area with wonderful view, great breakfast buffet, helpful staff, very clean, great location. I was originally in a smaller, darker room with a window facing a tiny alley but I was able to move to a larger room overlooking the plaza - which I was really happy with (very spacious, nice lighting & decor, huge bathroom, nice nature light coming through the windows). The hotel was also able to arrange a transfer to and from the airport which I really appreciated.
